About Pourato

Pourato for kura | schools:

  • calculates staffing and funding entitlements.
  • provides access to the latest resourcing information at any time.
  • prompts a kura | school to check Pourato to view changes when made.
  • enables a kura | school to track changes to funding and staffing.

Resourcing information is published in Pourato once it is approved by the delegation approver on behalf of the Ministry.

Education Resourcing System (ERS)

ERS will continue to be used:

  • to request additional relief teacher funding (ARTF) for schools
  • for jury service payments
  • for playgroup operational funding.

Because Pourato is still being used alongside the ERS, you will continue to receive email notifications when payments have been made from both systems.

System updates

Pourato system updates will continue to be made for kura | schools. Pourato is in development to provide funding information to early learning providers.

The Pourato website provides the latest system updates and tips for using Pourato.
