Changes to ENROL - January 2020

ENROL will not allow students to be enrolled or to have their First Day of Attendance (FDA) before they are five years old. This is due to changes to the legislation as part of a school’s cohort entry policy.

On the Create a Student Record screen, when the Date of Birth (DoB) is less than 5 years old, ENROL will display the error message: “The student is too young to be enrolled.” when you click on “Check Name”.

You’ll not able to progress to the next screen until the DoB is updated.

On the Edit Enrolment screen, the FDA is before the student’s fifth birthday, ENROL will display the error message “Student is too young to attend school.” when you click on “Next”.
