The age range for Alternative Education (AE) recording in ENROL has been increased
The new age range is between the ages of 11–18 (inclusive).
If the “Begin Date” is earlier than the student’s 11th birthday for the AE enrolment, the following error message will be displayed.
“The student must be 11 on the Begin Date”.
If the “Begin Date” is later than the student’s 18th birthday for the AE enrolment, the following error message will be displayed.
“The student must be less than 18 on the Begin Date”.
Education and Training Act 2020 updates
Clicking on the round blue enquiry question mark icon beside the “Eligibility Criteria” field will display the Circular 2020/08 - Eligibility to enrol in New Zealand schools.
The “Grounds for Stand-down” drop-down list in the “Stand-down Details” screen have been updated to reflect the changes in the Education and Training Act 2020.
The “Grounds for Suspension” drop-down list in the “Suspension Details” screen have been updated to reflect the changes in the Education and Training Act 2020.
