Review of the succession process
Towards the end of each year the members and secretariat review the succession process to:
- identify where any improvements could be made, and
- provide recommendations to the Minister of Education.
Replacement of vacancies
Any unexpected throughout the year vacancies can be filled by:
- a young person from the previously shortlisted applicants, or
- identifying young people for their specialist knowledge and lived experience
