Carbon Reduction Guidance

Tāku, Kia ora ai te ao and Me, growing a thriving world are partner documents that:

• place climate change within a te ao Māori lens,
• connect with Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and the New Zealand Curriculum, and
• provide some practical actions that schools and kura can take to reduce carbon emissions

The actions are based on research and experiences of kura and schools. The actions are focused on energy because energy use is one of the most significant emissions sources that schools and kura can impact through their actions, and every school and kura can do this.
