Support staff
Support staff employed in state or state-integrated schools are covered by either the Support Staff in Schools’ Collective Agreement (SSSCA) 2022-2024, or an individual employment agreement.

Caretakers, cleaners and canteen staff in state and state-integrated schools and kura are covered by either the School Caretakers’, Cleaners' and Canteen Staff Collective Agreement 2019-2022 or the School Caretakers’, Cleaners' and Canteen Staff Individual Employment Agreement.

Te Aho o te Kura Pounamu specialist and support staff are either covered by either the Te Aho o te Kura Pounamu Specialist and Support Staff Collective Agreement 2019-2021, or the Te Aho o te Kura Pounamu Specialist and Support Staff Individual Employment Agreement.

Specialist residential non-teaching staff are covered by either the Specialist Residential Schools’ Collective Agreement 2021-2022, or the Specialist Residential Schools’ Individual Employment Agreement.

Kaiarahi i te reo and therapists (occupational therapists and physiotherapists) are covered by either the Kaiarahi i te Reo and Therapists’ Collective Agreement 2012-2024, or the Kaiarahi i te Reo and Therapists’ Individual Employment Agreement.

Foreign language assistants are not covered by a collective agreement. Instead, they are employed under an individual employment agreement.

Adult and community education staff are covered by either the Adult and Community Education (ACE) Staff in Schools’ Collective Agreement 2020-2022, or an individual employment agreement.
