Rāwhiti School
Rāwhiti School is a Year 1-8 full primary school. It was built on the site of the former North New Brighton School as part of the Christchurch Schools Rebuild programme. It opened at the beginning of 2016.

Kids have a wealth of outdoor learning facilities at their spacious new school.
As well as new playgrounds and shade sails, there is an artificial playing turf, a sandpit, an amphitheatre and a scooter track.
Inside, flexible learning spaces allow teachers to design learning to meet the needs of every student, so students can find a space which supports the way they need to learn. There are also areas for teachers to plan, meet collaboratively, and access resources to supporting the way they teach.

Around $13.6m has been invested in quality facilities for the new school, which was formed from the merger of Central New Brighton School, North New Brighton School and Freeville School.
Rāwhiti School has been built on the former North New Brighton School site, and the pool has been retained and renovated for continued use.
