There were four Teacher-Only Days allocated in 2022 to support the implementation of changes to NCEA.
Schools and wharekura chose the focus/topics of each day to best suit local circumstances. Resources are available on the Ministry of Education’s Learning Management System and the website dedicated to strengthening NCEA.
Schools are free to choose dates to hold their Teacher-Only Days. However, the chosen dates must fall within a defined two-week period:
Teacher only Days 2022 | Dates |
TOD 5 | May 9 to 20 |
TOD 6 | August 15 to 26 |
TODs 7 and 8 | November 21 December 2 |
