NZAIMS |
The New Zealand Association of Intermediate and Middle Schooling provides support in leadership and members are mainly principals. NZAIMS is committed to meeting the learning and developmental needs of 10-14 year olds. |

NZCEO |
The New Zealand Catholic Education Office is the national administrative arm of all Catholic school proprietors and works closely with the NZ Catholic Bishops Conference. They provide a range of publications, guidance, resources and support to Catholic schools. NZEI |
The New Zealand Educational Institute is the union for primary school principals, teachers and support staff who work in primary, area and secondary schools, and also in early learning services, special schools and school advisory services. Members are supported in a range of employment situations, including collective agreement negotiations. NZEI currently has about 50,000 members. |

NZPPTA |
The New Zealand Post Primary Teachers Association Te Wehengarua is the professional association and union representing secondary teachers and principals. It’s made up of more than 17,000 members and as well as ensuring access to high quality public education, they negotiate collective employment agreements and provide advice, guidance and advocacy for members about their conditions of employment. |

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority is the Crown Entity responsible for assessing NCEA qualifications and other education programmes within the qualifications framework. | NZQA(external link) |
NZSTA |
The New Zealand School Trustees Association works with Boards of Trustees of state and state integrated schools to help them understand and undertake their legal and ethical responsibilities as governors of their schools. There are approximately 18,000 New Zealanders serving on 2,425 state and state integrated school Boards of Trustees. Approximately 2,232 of these are NZSTA members – so that’s about 92 per cent of all Boards. |

TEC |
The Tertiary Education Commission is the government agency that oversees tertiary education in New Zealand – funding over 700 tertiary education organisations (TEOs) to provide courses to learners at tertiary level, they also monitor the performance of TEOs and provide information and advice to the Government about tertiary education. | TEC(external link) |
