Criterion PF108#
☀ There is a space (where children are not present) for adults working at the service to:
- use for planned breaks;
- meet privately with parents and colleagues;
- store curriculum support materials; and
- assess, plan and evaluate.
Guidance #
How to show you are complying #
You must have a space where adults at the service can use where children are not present. This will mean adults have a space to use for:
- their planned breaks
- to meet privately with parents and colleagues
- to store curriculum support materials
- to use when they are focussing to undertake assessment, planning and evaluation.
The design and setup of this space will be different in each service. You may provide several separate spaces to meet this requirement.
The sun symbol ☀ indicates this space can be located outside of the licensed space if you have adequate access.
Find out more about the definition of adequate access.
