Criterion GMA109#
Enrolment and attendance records are maintained for each child attending. Records are kept for at least 7 years.
Documentation required#
Enrolment and attendance records for each child currently attending and for those who have attended in the previous 7 years. Records meet all the requirements of the ECE Funding Handbook.

How to show you are complying#
Enrolment records
You must keep enrolment records in line with the requirements set in the ECE Funding Handbook (Chapter 6-1).
These records must be held for 7 years before being disposed.
Sections marked with the diamond symbol in the Funding Handbook enrolment form template must be included in every enrolment agreement form.
Attendance records
You must keep attendance records for every child that attends the service. Records must meet the requirements outlined in the ECE Funding Handbook (Chapter 6-3).
It's important to keep track of when each child attends the service, including the exact times and dates. Good record-keeping will help make sure you receive Ministry funding when the child is absent. You can record this in a way that works best for your service.
