Office of the Privacy Commissioner
The Privacy Commissioner administers the Privacy Act 2020. The Privacy Act applies to almost every person, business or organisation in New Zealand.
The Commissioner can investigate complaints about actions that may be a breach of the privacy principles in the Act. They can also consider matters that may breach other provisions of the Act.
