The Prime Minister’s Vocational Excellence Award 2022

We are now accepting nominations for the 2022 Prime Minister’s Vocational Excellence Award.

The Prime Minister’s Vocational Excellence Award was launched in 2019 to celebrate students who demonstrate vocational excellence, and to raise the status of vocational education.

One Year 12 or Year 13 student per state or state-integrated school or wharekura is eligible to receive the Award. Recipients receive a $2,000 prize and a certificate.

Information packs, which include the nomination criteria and nomination forms, are being sent to schools. This year, you can nominate a student using your ESL login as well as via email.

For more information, visit The Prime Minister’s Vocational Excellence Award(external link).

For queries, email vocational.excellence@education.govt.nz.

We look forward to receiving your nominations.
