Alongside other agencies and child protection experts, we have developed a child protection training module that is now being tested by a core group of children’s workers.
The testing group includes Health NZ, New Zealand Police, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Education, Department of Corrections and Oranga Tamariki. Their feedback will be used to refine the module, so it is fit for purpose for all children’s workers.
The module is not being provided to educators at this stage – we'll let you know details about how to access the training once it is finalised.
