Creatives in Schools Round 4 schools selected

The Creatives in Schools programme is an opportunity for teachers and professional artists to work together to provide engaging learning experiences for their students.

Applications submitted last year under Round 4 have now been selected. These projects are being implemented in the 2023 school year.

Round 5 opens in June

Schools and kura along with their artist or creative practitioner, can jointly apply for up to $17,000 for their project. Creative projects can cover a wide range of artforms such as ngā toi Māori, Pacific arts, visual arts, performance arts and digital arts.

Schools and kura can start planning now for Round 5 alongside their creative partner. Round 5 will open for applications in June 2023 for projects to be implemented next year.
