Purpose of the review#
The systems review of SESTA service delivery will assess the safety and effectiveness of current service delivery. It will focus on making sure:
- roles and responsibilities are clear
- new contracts are introduced safely
- services are delivered safely and consistently
- stakeholders are kept informed and engaged.
Steering group#
The review is being guided by an independent steering group. It includes members with expertise in disability, education, transport operations, health and safety and lived experience.

Timeframe for the review#
The steering group’s report is expected to be delivered to us mid-August 2026. It will include recommendations for us to consider.
