Overview#

  • $139.8 million operating funding
  • $0.2 million capital funding.

The new services will reach double the current number of students and include an option of some in-school provision for schools with very high numbers of chronically absent students.

  • Service providers will work with families, local communities and social agencies to deliver comprehensive services, ranging from advice and support to schools, to intensive case management of students.
  • Frontline attendance services will have access to a new case management system and better data monitoring.
  • The new attendance service will be fully operational from early 2026.
