What the grant is for#

The careers information grant helps schools provide career advice for students in Years 9 to 13+.

Who gets the careers information grant#

All state and state-integrated schools and kura with students in years 9 to 13+ receive the careers information grant.

How we work out the careers information grant amount#

The funding rate is per student. The total your school will receive is the per-student rate multiplied by the total number of Year 9-15 students enrolled in your school on each roll return date.

We use the Equity Index to set the funding rates for state and state-integrated schools.

How the grant is paid#

Payments are made through the usual operational grant payment processes.
