How a Learner Identity Broker works#
The Learner Identity Broker (LIB) is a secure system that helps students use their school login to access Ministry-approved and connected online education platforms.
It acts like a bridge. Instead of creating multiple accounts for each platform, students can log in once and be connected to the services their school supports.
Benefits of using a Learner Identity Broker#
Using a LIB makes access easier for students, reducing the need for multiple passwords and saving time. It also improves security and provides a more consistent experience for the platforms that work with the broker.
If a student changes schools, the LIB login makes sure their access and records seamlessly transfer with them.
