In total, 35 new subjects will soon be available across Tau 11–13, mokopuna will have more opportunities to complete their senior education in and through te reo Māori. 

New senior subjects released today for the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa include:

• several languages.

Consultation update#

The consultation for Years | Tau 12-13 Outdoor Education | Akoranga tū-ā-nuku and Years | Tau 11-13 New Zealand Sign Language | Te Reo Rotarota o Aotearoa closes on Thursday 29 October. 

The final Te Marautanga o Aotearoa subject Hangarau is open for feedback until 18 November.
