Overview#
The purpose of an enrolment scheme of a state school is to:
- avoid overcrowding or the likelihood of overcrowding at the school
- to make sure the selection of applicants for enrolment at the school is done in a fair and transparent manner
- to enable the Secretary to make the best use of existing networks of state schools.
In collaboration with the Roslyn School Board, we have developed a proposed enrolment scheme for Roslyn School.
Start date#
The proposed scheme would become effective for enrolments from Term 1 2026.
Information about the consultation#
We are consulting with whānau, hāpu, iwi, and with all people living in the area where the school is a reasonably convenient school.
This enrolment scheme could affect which school a student will be entitled to enrol in.
For more information, download the proposed enrolment scheme.
Provide any comments about the proposed Roslyn School enrolment scheme that you would like to be included in the final report.
What happens next#
Once all submissions have been gathered, we will work with the Roslyn School Board to make the appropriate amendments to address any concerns.
