Overview#

A minor amendment to the enrolment scheme of Mountainview High School is required to update their special programme wording to include the maximum number of students in their special programme, Whare Ako.

There are no proposed changes to the home zone of Mountainview High School.

The proposed commencement date of this minor amendment is 20 April 2026.

The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education and Training Act 2020.

What happens next#

Following the notification period, we will consider any comments received and process this minor amendment to make sure it meets the requirements of the Education and Training Act 2020. If we are satisfied that the enrolment scheme meets these requirements, the enrolment scheme will be finalised and provided to the school board to implement.
