Overview#
In October 2025, we released the updated Years 0-10 Te Reo Rangatira and Pāngarau wāhanga ako for schools and kura to start using in Term 1, 2026.
This time, we want to hear from kaiako and tumuaki on the draft framework and Years 0-10 wāhanga ako.
The consultation is also open to the wider sector, whānau and any New Zealanders who would like to participate.
Draft for consultation#
We have released the draft Te Marautanga o Aotearoa framework and Year 0-10 wāhanga ako (Pūtaiao, Waiora, Toi Ihiihi, Hangarau, Ngā Reo, and Te Reo Pākeha) for consultation.
Te Ao Māori will be available soon.
