If your school receives this staffing allowance you will see it listed under additional staffing in Pourato.

We allocate the instrumental and vocal tuition time allowance to these school types:

• secondary
• area
• composite
• restricted composite schools.

How much additional staffing schools receive#

The allowance in full-time teacher equivalent is 0.001 of the school's total Year 7 to 15 staffing roll (rounded to 2 decimal places).

In restricted composites, only Year 9 and 10 rolls are used in this calculation.

You will get an indicative figure on the school's provisional staffing entitlement. This is recalculated and finalised using the 1 March actual rolls.
