We use different formulas depending on school type to calculate classroom release time for permanent unit holders.

A provisional entitlement for next year is calculated in August based on the average number of eligible permanent unit holders using current year-to-date payroll information. We will then recalculate your entitlement using current payroll data in late April next year. Your classroom release time for permanent unit holders will be the greater of the provisional CRT or recalculated CRT based on current payroll data.
