Supporting attendance for students with anxiety (Years 7 to 13)#

Join Dr Jamie Speeden, paediatrician and child and adolescent psychiatrist, for a practical session on understanding how anxiety can present in students in Years 7 to 13 and the impact it can have on attendance and engagement in learning.
The webinar will explore practical tools and supports kaiako can use to work with students, parents and whānau | families to help students stay connected to education.

Changes for Term 1 2027#

In this webinar, we will give you an overview of the changes taking effect from Term 1 2027. This will include the new attendance exemption rules and changes to attendance codes.
This webinar will be useful for principals and tumuaki, attendance leads and staff responsible for recording attendance in student management systems (SMS).
