Cyber Smart Week 2022
Cyber Smart Week(external link) is back for 2022! At the Ministry of Education we’ll be celebrating Cyber Smart Week for Schools in weeks one and two of Term 4 (17 to 28 October).
Across the two weeks we’ll have some online activities that schools can tune into – and we’ll be hitting the road, as part of a Roadshow with New Era and Netsafe to promote what’s coming up in the world of digital security for schools. We’ll be covering venues from Whangārei to Christchurch. You can find more information and register for events on Eventbrite(external link).
We’ll also have some exciting image assets and posters that schools can share at your school to promote two-factor authentication, privacy, password protection and keeping devices up-to-date.
If you want to be involved in any of these Cyber Week initiatives, please contact us by email at: email@example.com
New Zealand Cyber Smart weeks runs from 10 – 16 October. Cyber Smart Week is run by CERT NZ(external link). The primary goal of the campaign is to empower all New Zealanders to improve their online security so they’re less vulnerable to cyber attacks.
