Alert Level step-down: Auckland at Level 2, rest of NZ at Level 1

The Auckland region is now at Alert Level 2 and the rest of New Zealand is at Alert Level 1.

This means that all schools and services throughout New Zealand, with the exception of Papatoetoe High School, are open onsite and all children should attend unless they are sick.

Papatoetoe High School will be closed onsite until Monday 22 February. They will continue to provide distance learning for all students.

New Zealand’s health and education authorities have planned for this situation for some time. These plans are now being activated.
