Early Learning Funding - December 2018
Funding reminders for the Early Learning Sector for December 2018 including reporting on Targeted Funding for Disadvantage is due on 1 February 2019.
Reporting on Targeted Funding for Disadvantage is due on 1 February 2019
Each year early learning services and ngā kōhanga reo must report to the Ministry of Education on how they have used Targeted Funding for Disadvantage and what impact it has had on children in their service. Reporting on Targeted Funding for Disadvantage that was received during the 2018 calendar year is due by 1 February 2019.
This means that all Targeted Funding received in the March 2018 and July 2018 funding payments, and half of the funding received in the November 2018 funding payment, should be included in the report. Only early learning services and ngā kōhanga reo that received $2,000 or more in Targeted Funding for the 2018 calendar year need to complete the reporting template.
Once complete, the template should be sent to email@example.com.
The reporting must be completed at a licence level, but organisations can collate the reporting templates of their individual members and supply them to the Ministry on their members’ behalf.
The information provided through this reporting will help us better understand how this funding is being used and how effective it is at supporting children.
