The Tagaloa scholarships are offered for the final year of postgraduate study to support Pacific tertiary students to achieve in tertiary institutions.

The scholarships are part of the Ministry’s wider Talanoa Ako response to the Pacific PowerUP evaluations 2016–2019. Pacific communities highlighted the need for ‘Pacific as and by Pacific’ to be supported by growing Pacific capacity and capability within communities and the education sector.

  • 1 Masters scholarship of $10,000.
  • 1 Doctoral scholarship of $14,000.
